“The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.”
― Terry Pratchett, Diggers
Mission Statement
Learning and knowledge transfer has been the guiding passion of my professional life. Teaching English literacy internationally, helping to train information technology workers to standardize practices and creating meaningful learning experiences for Oncologists are just some of the highlights of my professional practice. I have approached every situation with the same central philosophy: to enrich your path to learning.
Focused on Learning Experience Design for the digital space to deliver holistic and human centric experiences, I have transformed my practice to embrace 21st century learning tools and methodologies. Influenced by thought leaders Niels Floor, Andre Plaut and Jane Hart, I design and develop learning frameworks founded on research of the targeted audience and incorporating learner input. To complement my design process, I keep my skills current with Web Development and User Experience Design courses at HackerYou – after all, the learning design is as only good as the platform on which it is presented.
